A: Left sided chest pain radiating down the arm is a sign of something wrong with the heart. Anxiety attacks can often mimic signs of heart attack, but why take the chance. The longer you wait, if it is a heart problem, the more long term irreversible damage your heart will sustain. Go to the ER. If its tolerable, have a friend drive you in, or call for an ambulance. It would be less than smart to drive yourself in.
